From the moment my husband & I met Duane, we knew he was someone we could trust and work well with. Leading up to the wedding, Duane was in constant contact with us, asking us not only about photography related things, but about the wedding in general & how we were doing personally with the stress of wedding planning. The day before the wedding, Duane showed up to the rehearsal (without me asking!) just to meet our families & to get to know the wedding party. I thought this was extremely thoughtful & I know he made everyone feel so much more comfortable. The day of the wedding Duane came to the hair salon (again without me asking!) to start taking pictures. He then made sure to capture every sentimental moment leading up to the ceremony, often offering a joke or two to make me laugh (I think he could tell that I was getting a little nervous). The wedding party took most of the pictures before the ceremony: I thought this would be a boring & tedious event; but I was completely wrong! Everyone was having a blast with Duane, laughing & joking & acting like they had all known each other for years. It was a great way to start off the day, and to head into the ceremony. During the ceremony all I know is that Duane was somewhere; he took fabulous pictures to prove it, but I never saw him & neither did my family! He was wonderful & unintrusive during the ceremony & didn't detract one bit from the main event (I've been to weddings where you have to try to concentrate on the bride & groom & not gawk at the photographer). Before, during, & after the ceremony Duane captured many truly beautiful moments, many of which were not posed; these turned out to be my favorites because they really showed the love & joy that surrounded us that day. My husband & I then had the impossible task of deciding which photos to include in our Coffee Table book...this was so hard because every photo taken was wonderful! We ended up choosing about 100 more photos than was suggested. I thought Duane would tell us to trim it down some, but instead he adjusted the album to fit all of our selections. I can't say enough how happy we are with the photos & how we have been treated by Duane. He makes us feel like we are the most important client & is extremely accomodating. I don't think you could find better quality & service anywhere!
